CSR strategy :

CSR policy :

4 strong commitments are part of Almaviva's values and corporate project.

The CSR approach is cross-functional and operational, and aims to be as close to the ground as possible. As such, the approach has been co-constructed with multidisciplinary working groups to ensure the involvement of all stakeholders.

Staff & Practitioners For its staff and practitioners

  • Effectively support our teams through local management and optimal working conditions
  • Ensuring the employability and development of our talent in all its diversity

Care For the excellence of care at the service of its territory

  • Guaranteeing the quality of our care in optimal safety conditions
  • Improving our territorial impact through the environmental, economic and cultural development of the territories where we operate

Purchase Towards responsible purchasing

  • Integrate environmental and social criteria into our choice of suppliers
  • Changing purchasing practices to reconcile economic performance and CSR challenges

Environmental performance Towards environmental performance

  • Contribute to the fight against global warming by reducing our energy consumption
  • Improving our environmental impact by reducing and recycling our waste production

CSR governance :

By 2022, all CSR officers have received CSR training!

1 CSR seminar at the end of the year brought together the directors of our establishments and their representatives to share our CSR strategy and roadmap. We are convinced that the commitment of our teams is the key to bringing CSR to life on a daily basis within our establishments.

The three priority CSR objectives:

Improving well-being in the workplace

  • Optimal working conditions,
  • Quality and caring management,
  • Meaning and values in the workplace.

Commitment - Sense of belonging - Cohesion.

Supporting the energy transition

  • Assessment of our carbon footprint (BEGES),
  • Reduce our energy consumption by 25% by 2025,
  • Consuming less; consuming differently; moving away from fossil fuels.

Energy sobriety - Energy efficiency - Development of renewable energies

Supporting waste management and reduction

In particular, by 2025:

  • Reduce by 30% the quantity of our Waste from Healthcare Activities involving Infectious Risks (DASRI),
  • Eliminate the purchase of plastic bottles,
  • Move towards a paperless patient pathway,
  • Reduce food waste,
  • Engage our suppliers to reduce the over-packaging of our products: responsible purchasing policy,
  • Developing recycling channels for each establishment...

"The best waste is the waste that does not exist".

The impact of the health sector

The French healthcare system accounts for more than 8% of national greenhouse gas emissions (almost 50 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent).

On average, a medical, surgical or obstetric establishment produces :

  • 1.6 kg of waste per patient per day,
  • 2.3 kg of hazardous waste per day of hospitalisation,
  • 491 litres of water are consumed per day of hospitalisation,
  • 685 KWhep* / square metre / year (*kilowatt/hour of primary energy)
