A mammogram is an X-ray of the breasts that uses X-rays to obtain images of the inside of the breast and detect any abnormalities. Mammograms are carried out by a radiologist.
Clinique de l'Essonne has two independent providers who offer this type of examination:

No preparation is necessary before a mammogram. On the day of the examination, it is recommended that you :
If necessary, biopsies and MRI scans may be taken. To prepare for your visit as well as possible, remember to bring back your old x-rays so that the radiologist can compare them with the new ones and identify any potential changes to the breast.
